The powerhungry mage Acererak ravaged the eastern lands with his armies of undead.

In the year 20ATR Acererak had gathered enough knowledge and power to challenge the ruler of the Aurochian people and take control of the Great Plains of Aurochia. Raising his defeated foes as undead soldiers for his own army, Acererak threatened the nearby regions and invaded them one by one, turning all who fell into undead slaves doing his bidding.
