Goal

Silver & Pilfer (and then a Feral rush to however far I'll be able to get...)

Worlds

I am revisiting The Wild Cards, a setting I haven't touched in quite a while. The Five Knights, as some call them, are a group of students that are slowly influencing those around them. This slowly moves towards a societal revolution of sorts, as people build their relationships. Character growth, love for each other, becoming one big family, yet also facing the loss of those that stand in their way.
Additionally, the themes heavily resonate with the story I've been writing without world-building for March of 31 Tales, as well as its spin-offs that are already dancing around my head. So I caved and gave Flamekissed its own world, to host whatever info I will end up writing down for the setting. Eirwen and Aodhán have to overcome not just those opposing their union, but also Eirwen's trauma and Aodhán's guilt, so that they can stand besides each other in earnest.

Focus

For Wild Cards, the focus will be on Academy-related things. Which means both the academy itself, and fleshing out the background of various characters. I haven't written down every character yet, so I should grab my notes on the draws for some of the characters. Gotta find those notebooks somewhere...
With Flamekissed, both Iceburn and its spin-offs can use some world-building. Specifically, explanations on various mana abilities, establishing a unified terminology system for me to be more consistent, explaining various relevant regions, and so on. Let's see if any prompts spark ideas!
Of course I'll likely also grab other settings, for whatever prompts don't work well for these two worlds. There my goal will be on ideas that fit seamlessly into my existing story ideas, allowing me to expand on those and bring myself inspiration, rather than just prompt even more random trails of thought.

Schedule

I already write daily for my story, but I also need to make time to write articles. If I can combine the two, even if I don't fully finish an article, even the busy days will have me properly progress. Maybe that way I can find more time to refine the articles that really spark joy.

My Goal

On one hand, I enjoy just world-building in itself. But for every setting, I also have other ideas. Either a story, an RPG campaign idea, or random story bits. Actually writing, though? I don't really do that. Even during Novelember I primarily focused on brief fiction bits. But now I am actually writing daily, and I hope to keep up that enthusiasm. And maybe even spread it to the settings I have so many ideas for, but never wrote down yet. Let's see if I can make myself more consistent, reducing my doomscrolling even more and writing instead. Fingers crossed!
