The Inn Project
General
What is the Inn Project? It began to take form December the Second, and it was an idea to incorporate the World Anvil Discord Server into a Setting of mine. The main focus of this project was the World Ends Inn, as well as the people who could be found there. Soft self-inserts of the worldbuilders that inhabit the glorious and fun WA Discord, and it all was a fun way to honor all the wonderful people in a funny and fairly unique idea.
The characters
It was not initially my idea to deepen the characters and give them their own articles. But then the numbers started to grow and they were just so interesting concepts. The first one that was given an article was Ana the Baker, followed by Thei the Researcher and Mal Grand the Cook and so on. What began with around six characters, has grown to a group of around twenty. With each new member, the project has grown and has also helped deepen the worldbuilding of several worlds.
Out-world
The characters begin as concepts. I ask the worldbuilder a few questions, that in the beginning was hazardously thought up. They have now been more thought out and one can read them in Anvilites' Guild Recruitment Questions. I then take that information and attempt to make the best character out of it, and I fill the gaps in between to make it reasonable within the setting (or as reasonable as possible at least). Before I make the character official, I might ask some additional questions to further flesh out the character.
In-world
Every character in-world has a history. They did not just poof into existence one day. The Concordian City is a strange place, and it is not always clear how and why people show up there. Most members of the Anvilites' Guild have a rather vague history, with a few knowing full well how they ended up where they are now. Some did it purposefully, but most did so involuntarily.
Prose & narrative
Lately, I have begun writing prose for the Inn project, where the characters are at center stage. Some more so than others. The first prose I wrote was together with Ana Winters, which was A request for flame bombs, featuring Ana the Baker and Leno the Handyman [Yes, make a large guess who he is based on.]
My biggest prose projects right now is the Anvilites Adventures Series [At the moment Ademal Preacte is the protagonist] and the prelude The mercenary from the future, featuring Evelyn Arcasai the Bouncer and Odin the Bounty Hunter.
The Growing of Concord
First, the City of Concord was more of a backstage for the World Ends Inn and its characters. It represents Discord in a sense, where every "server" had their own District and Guild. It has now grown into a setting all of its own, a place where the reason for adventure is near limitless.

I think it’s a really cool project to incorporate the World Anvil Discord server into your world. I always love those kinds of things, and it’s very cool to see how my character and others’ characters are put into the world. I love how everything has come so far from that one question, into this huge part of the lore of your omniverse.
I think the Inn Project is just plain fun. I haven't been a part of such a neat idea in a very long time. I like how you've taken such a simple premise and have used it as a legitimate part of your setting's lore.
