It is Sunday, and the Sabbat has gathered for their Black Mass. The ceremony is a celebration of the sin Gluttony, and the vampires gorge themselves upon the blood of the kine who have been offered up to them. Robin, a neonate Tremere within the Sabbat, met with a few of the different Sabbat players that she had not yet interacted with: Mr. Blane, Phino, Ryou, and “Diva.”   For another vampire, one much older, there were more reckonings with her past. Corinthia Banner was visited by her sire. Nehemiah paid a visit to Miami, visiting his now humbled disappointment of a Childe, and offering her a chance to redeem herself. Corinthia has yet to take him up on it, but the offer is tempting…   Dhakir and his ghoul, Blaise, talked with once more, and Dhakir tricked her into drinking more of his blood, deepening their connections to one another and potentially earning him a faithful servant for many years to come.   Anubis and Corneliu spent the entire evening together: at a jazz club, out on the town, and simply spending time in each other’s company.   Corinthia met up with another intellectual, but one of a different kind: a nocker by the name of Finn Hendrix. They spoke for some time about their jobs (hers as a librarian and his as a toymaker), before parting ways amicably, having never discovered each other’s true self.   Finn also met up with the young satyr Andreas at the Vizcaya Gardens, though they did not get along at all – Finn found Andreas to be naïve and rude, Andreas found Finn callous and jaded. But any interaction is a good one for such a young kith such as Andreas, and they parted on terms that could be considered luke warm, but not cold.   Persephone Blackwood and her fiancé went out on a date, coming face to face with another fae: Briar Rose. Seph was immediately suspicious and jealous of this far superior looking creature, but her fears were soon put to rest by both Lucien and Briar’s words. Still, it dislodged some deep seated insecurities that are sure to dog her steps for quite some time.   John and Burns have officially issued a challenge to settle their differences. The stakes? If Burns wins, John must leave his pack and publicly declare that Leeches are a danger to Gaea and their people and never again treat one as a friend. If John wins, Burns must publicly apologize to John, but John graciously did not require Burns to withdraw from his bid to join Brinn’s pack.   Deandre , the academic with a penchant for magick, has begun to investigate the various strange goings-on at the university that lead to one of his students who died when they bit into a light pole, electrocuting themselves.   Finally, far away from everyone else, Percival Kent was approached by a mysterious blind witch who offered him many riches if he would work for them – he readily accepted, forging a new (potentially deadly) bond between him and the Witch.   In the mortal world, an ice sculpture event has sprung up on the Upper Eastside! Everyone marvels at the wonderous (seemingly invisible) tech that could keep this entire event from melting in the (admittedly mild) winter of Florida. The lights shining through the sculptures is fascinating and wondrous to behold. As the sun sets, more and more mortals gather to appreciate it.
