The Void

The nothingness left behind after creation, the emptiness after order, the Void is less of a traversable Realm and more of an inter-planar space. But while it is devoid of any kind of matter, physical or metaphysical, it does possess a type of energy peculiar to itself. Rather, it possesses a type of anti-energy. Pure entropy, this anti-energy has a tendency to find the cracks in literally anything and eat away at them like ice in stone. This energy actively works against and counteracts existence until it is nothingness like the Void that generated it. This energy is purely destructive and cannot be used to truly create anything. Even Nuril, though considered to be “created” by Void energies, is in actuality just impure mythril with its fine cracks filled by the energies. Despite its chaotic nature, Void energies can be channeled to some extent and used to temporarily empower a human, although this is extremely harmful to the user; even tangential channeling of these energies through specialized devices and instruments will leave an adverse affect on the user over time most akin to gradual, generalized voiding.
