Guatsuka Islands

A trio of islands right in the middle of the Central Sea, the Guatsuka Islands have long been the ancestral home of the Mizuri people and have long been contested by both the Torithian Federation and Ekhmenet because of their critical tactical positioning and their rich deposits of both ore and mythril.

Geography

The three Guatsuka Islands are primarily volcanic in nature, with barely-dormant volcanoes dozing beneath the earth. As there have been many eruptions in recent history, much of the land is covered in ash and long-cooled magma, particularly on the central island, with its Cinder Slopes being exemplar of such activity. This makes any vegetation on the islands often rather small compared to the deep forests so common in the Torithian Federation, often confined to grasses and shrubbery like Sugarberry bushes.
