The Scorch
The Scorch is a desert that sits in the middle of Otrask.
Geography
The Scorch is an incredibly dry desert. Rolling dunes occupy it's extensive landmass, and what little water exists can be found in pockets underground.
There are also pockets of magical void that exist all throughout. In these pockets, magic doesn't work, and magical effects are suppressed while inside the pocket.
History
The Scorch has an incredibly long history. Starting as the home to the Ancient Dragon Vinsarix, it was the home to several of the battles against the dragons. The Artin, a collection of nomads (mainly orcs and khenra) were the main inhabitants who remained separate from the rest of the world until the Letrani Wars. During the Letrani Wars, The Scorch was decimated.
