A bus leaves from Neo Sim A-Sector to Soden every two hours for full pocketed gamblers and thrill seekers, to the dismay of the city's companies who would have prefered that money be kept within the city. While on the surface Soden is an ally to Neo Sim, it doesn't appreciate the pressure Neo Sim pushes on Soden tourism claiming to act out of a sense of wholesomeness. Soden uses the common Mayor-Sheriff system, where the elected mayor is the highest authority and whose office takes care of all civil matters while the sheriff answers to the mayor and takes care of all security problems. Specifically in Soden, corruption is pretty rampant. The mayor is often under pressure from the many establishments in the city and some times Neo Sim. The police in Soden is well funded and well trained though, due to political pressure, is often relegated to bouncer and bodyguard duty to generous donators. Soden has a very active underbelly of several smaller gangs, the largest of which is the Randell gang, who all war for control of parts of the city. These gangs are mostly in the business of extortion, fixing matches and drugs. Tourism is the main form of income for the city. For that reason, the police cracks hard on any kind of crime that would threaten a tourists perception of safety. Because of this, gang violence tends to be low key, focussing on well planned, targetted assassinations rather than outright street shootings. Soden is known for its variety of entertainment and one of them is legal, well organised prostitution. Genetics have come a long way and in the better establishments, the employees are vetted for looks and brains. Some even train their employees in the art of entertaining guests. Both men and women are available in these higher class shops and neither sex is stigmatised.
