TD-13: Hourglass Half Empty

General Summary

They dug into our home and slaughtered us, after leaving we responded with a counter-attack but their strength surpassed ours and they returned to finish what they started. We set up a front line defense with our Shaman Guros acting as an alarm and risking her life to alert us. But they left and returned after a while and ran straight into the room where I was preparing our defences. The door budged open with a grinding screech against the stone floor. There they stood the tyrants that massacred my people. It seemed that one required light in order to see, so we diffused the flame to blind him. But a shaman who oddly looked quite masculine brought out a blazing ball of Infernal energy. With this light, I saw this beast of a woman who proved to be most durable, such a vile and untamed beast, but nothing my rage couldn't handle. The blind walker looked frail when running up to me to try to defend his friend I just knocked down. One clean slice and he was knocked down, it seems that the Infernal ball was roasting him. But after this, the great bear of a woman stood up again after the male shaman spoke something that matched the shamans' wise words. This warrior would have my respect if she hadn't harmed my home, as she refused to dwell down and stood her ground. But it wasn't much to knock her back down. I started chasing the two remaining individuals, the male Shaman and a horned one. He shot me and I couldn't afford to chase any further, so I turned back to make sure the two capsizes stayed dead. The shaman tried to take control of the vile flames, but they proved unable. We are going to start a tunnel out as they are surely going to bring more beasts. May the shamans bless us through divine means.
