Rypochel

Once, in the icy embrace of Enser's Tundra, the Rypochel fern thrived as a captivating subspecies of the Dream Fern. Alas, its existence has been extinguished, forever lost due to the cataclysmic Pact of Flame that scorched the land. Though extinct, its memory remains as a reminder of the intriguing botanical wonders that once adorned the frigid terrain. The Rypochel boasted turquoise leaves that delicately unfurled, akin to twirling fiddlehead fronds. Yet, it wasn't the whimsical appearance that distinguished it, but rather the effects it imparted when ingested as a drug.
This extraordinary fern held the power to deceive the senses, generating a peculiar and fascinating illusion within those who consumed it. Upon taking the substance, the user's body would be tricked into perceiving a false sensation of warmth, as if enveloped in the tender embrace of a crackling hearth.
