Beruliasta

Within the kingdom of Berulia, a diverse array of ethnic groups coexist, contributing to the vibrant tapestry of the realm. Among these groups is the Beruliasta, named after the word in the local language for "horse rider."   For much of their history has been altered and affected by the use of horses, most specifically the native Berulia Horse which is larger than the average horse. They have been responsible for a lot of the earlier barbaric lifestyle of these people, and equally as if not more critical in their agriculture by being used to guide ploughs through fields.     These people were greatly effected by the War of Broken Vows by having the land they embodied becoming a warning ground for the divorced nation to hold their pitchy war. Lasting 5 years it ended with one forest the country had been completely obliterated and the fertility of soil being altered heavily.  The forest that used to divide the land was turned into what's now referred to as the Mud Pits, a place where if you ever walk off the path you may end up dying from an undiscovered weapon of war. The land would slowly start to regrow, but never in the same beauty as it once was, causing much of the farmer lifestyle in the region to shift into an industrial-focused country. This is where the idea of Beruliasta being good at hand work comes from, a necessity to survive in a land that has tarnished.
