The Titans

The Titans existed several milennia ago, but all but one of them, the Traitor, vanished shortly before Skyfall.   Little is known about them, though small fragments of their deeds and history do sometimes appear. They are believed to have been immortal beings, though how they came to exist is unknown.

Mechon

A being believed to have lived amongst the Lufenian people in the Island Kingdoms. A master of technology and study, he sought to create ever more advanced technology, and shared his findings with the people. It is believed he showed the Lufenians how to create the legendary Devices, as well as the means by which they conquered both air and sea. Despite the advanced technology enjoyed by the isles, they were not warmongerers and while weapons did sometimes get created, the majority of the technology was used to better the lives and to discover. It is claimed they even figured out how to create lightning and store it. Mechon was the last Titan to vanish prior to Skyfall, having strived to try and prevent the calamity for as long as possible. He is often depicted as a humanoid machine.

The Traitor

The Traitor as he is now known was the last Titan to remain. Like Mechon, he mostly resised in the Island Kingdoms, though was frequently seen travelling to what is now known as the Storm Continent. After the Starfall, he led many of the peoples of the Isles to rebel and declared war on Fate. Eventually, after many a grueling battle and life lost, he was defeated in a massive battle in the Inner Sea, and slain. His body is said to still sit at the bottom of the sea to this day. To this day, the Traitors Fall is celebrated all over the world by followers of Fate. He is depicted as the greatest evil to have ever existed, and some even blame him for Skyfall itself. Statues depict him as a humanoid upper body with a lower body more akin to an octopus or squid, with many tendrils, though some older works show him as a complete humanoid.
