The Imperial crown is believed to be the most powerful artifact created by the Mythic Empire. It was said when this crown was worn by the emperors they were immune to disease and could not be charmed nor frightened, as well as protecting them from blindness, deafness, petrification and becoming stunned. It embowed the attacks with great strength, kept them physically healthy, and allowed them to cast powerful magic freely. The crown radiated a wonderous golden light and was inlaid with exquisite examples of each Arcana Crystal. Alas with the fall of the Mythic Empire, the crown was lost. Many believe it still rests atop the last emperors head, wherever he may be and that whoever uncovers the lost artifact will be the rightful ruler of all Merkia and usher in the second Mythic Age.

Manufacturing process

The crown was constructed by the finest smiths in all of Merkia for the first mythic emperor. An arcana crystal came from each nation within his lands and was forged and it is belived the gods themselves blessed the artifact, giving it its power, and affirming that it was the divine right of its wear to rule all of Merkia.

Significance

The Imperial crown is a hugely cultural significant artifact for humanity, particularly for the Empyrean Empire who view themselves as the true continuation of the Mythic Empire. It is also highly sought after by the Sorcerer Kings of Zauwri for its immense magical power.
