A steel lute engraved with swans, feathers, and filigree, the swansong lute is said to contain the serenity, insight, and deep passion of its creator - and will impart such things on anyone who takes hold of it. While attuned to this lute, you may spend a long rest tinkering with and improvising on the lute.

If you do, you may learn one of the songs (spells) imbued into it. Once this is done, that song cannot be learned by anyone else. These spells count towards your spell limit and must utilize either the appropriate focus or materials to cast them.

The lute has five charges, which are refreshed each sunrise. With these charges, you can cast any of the spells imbued into it by spending a number of charges equal to its level.
