Plant Dragon
Discovered by Foenix Stolnent in Cirvai's Garden after the death of the progenitor, the plant dragon is assumed to be a new species born of the corruption of a silver dragon and the magical plant life she cultivated.
As a new species, specifics about its biology are still a mystery and are based on observation rather than hard facts.

Genetics and Reproduction
It has been observed that wyrmlings grow in pouches, encased in large petals, that are around 10 inches tall and 8 inches in diameter at the largest point. They grow suspended in a nectar/amniotic fluid solution until the flower opens and the newly formed wyrmling can be born.
If close enough to the end of the gestation period, a wyrmling can finish maturation outside of the floral sac, but if removed too early the embryo will wither and die.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Wyrmlings have been noted to eat flora, largely. Vegetables, fruits, and berries are a large part of its diet.
They also seem to enjoy honey combs and the nectar they were developed in.
They also need sunlight and water, both of which are absorbed through the dermis and consume more than most mammals of a comparable side would need (but consume less solid food in comparison).
Behaviour
A wyrmling acts in many ways like a juvenile cat or dog, with impulses to friendliness, hyperactivity, and play.
They spend a good amount of time sleeping in sunlight to reduce energy consumption and to fulfill their photosynthesis requirements.
