While I do not doubt your intentions to be pure and just, I shuddered just to read the things you have spoken in your correspondence - to the extent that I dare not repeat them here.

You are well regarded across all of Ilatros, and to throw it all away in just a few words is beneath you, both in status and in wisdom.

I shall remain in Brillante until my business is concluded, but we shall speak in person when I return. I hope your mind will be cleared from what drink and passion now cloud it.
