Kairyll Felinas
Culture
Common Dress code
Felinas are very fond of bright colors, jewelry of any sort, and soft fabrics. They despise cold, preferring to be warm. They can, however, tolerate colder temperatures. They just don’t like it much.
Common Myths and Legends
The Kairyll have their own set of deities, but freely include the deities of the other species of Melphor into their shrines. The Kairyll deities are only worshipped by the Kairyll and are largely ignored by the people of Melphor, most notably the ones living on the continent of Ardren. Those of Keltos acknowledge these deities and include them into their calendars.
Ideals
Beauty Ideals
The Felinas are very feline in appearance. They are the smallest of the three subtypes, standing anywhere between 5’ and 6’ in height. Their fingers and toes sport long, curved, retractable claws. Each one has a long, slender tail that is prehensile. They have a short covering of fur over their entire body (excluding their wing sails). This fur has a range of colors: black, brown, white, and grey. Their hair colors are: red, black, blond, and brown. Their eyes are slit like a cat’s and the colors are: yellow, green, blue, and brown. Felinas faces resemble those of a house cat, only larger in size, with ears on the upper portion of their heads.
Relationship Ideals
Felinas reproduce very much like feline animals do. They engage in aerial displays to attract mates. Felinas gestation is a period of four months. A female will produce up to three offspring.
