Yelfir Laidencross Takes the Throne

In the year 818 AD, Yelfir Laidencross killed the Hadian emperor and assumed power as he founded the now-known Laidencross Empire.

In 818 AD, a young elvish guy named Yelfir Laidencross killed the Hadian emperor who reigned at the time with a magical blade and assumed power, founding the Laidencross Empire. During his reign he allowed for the use of magic again in the north which was fantastic. Outside of this though, the empire struggled as the Orndoth Domain controlled more territory than they do in modern day Eisilfel.   The southern government not only controlled portions of Efrava but also had captured the city of Andron at this time. One good thing did come of this in that he essentially helped to fund the first magical colleges in the north which eventually led to magical influence allowing for some territory controlled by the Laidencross to actually...grow...food.
