There are manly men, gentlemanly men, ladies men, intellectual men, brawny men, men of leisure, and men of sport, but Pier is just a drunk man, all the time, and PROUDLY!
A mountain of a man, was always a child of formidable size and strength. No one dared bully him, and he faced punishment with obstinacy: “That didn’t hurt!” Of course, because by 12 years of age the boy was already under spirits!
By the time he was made a squire, he already had invented a drink that he called “Gunk,” which consisted of filling an ice bucket with a little bit of every drink from every bottle in whatever tavern he was currently sitting. He famously drank 126 pints of beer in a 24-hour sitting and celebrated the last with half a Gunk. THERE ARE WITNESSES OF THIS ACHIEVEMENT!
His over-imbibing never impacted his work, however. No matter how much he drank the night before, the next day he would stand tall and proud like nothing happened, ready for the next brawl.
The man is now under Moredo Rogare's service thanks to an open bar contract the Magister offered him (the Magister's Wine Cellar is literally endless).
