Appearance

Harwin is lean and dark haired, possessing what would be a handsome face if not marred by the pimples of youth. He often dresses in a modest doublet and surcoat displaying his houses’s moths, and in battle dons dark mail.

History

Harwin’s father, the Lord Harrion Horpe, was one of the members of Lord Selwyn Wensington's Loyalist Faction. This was less out of his personal loyalty to Queen Visenya and more due to his dislike of Ellyria, a woman he saw as a usurper, being in charge of the Stormlands. When Ellyria was merely traded for Jaehaera, another woman, Harwin’s father became disillusioned with Wensington. Harwin, the heir to Mothall, was raised to have many of the same views as his father. Harwin found common cause with Jacob against Jaehaera and Ellyria, even if the reason for their dislike differed.
Harwin tends to encourage Jacob’s worst impulses, quick to offence and slow to forgive. He is nevertheless quite personable and willing to stand up to anyone for his friends and values.
