Mekton Campaign

The year is 2112. Megacorps now rival federal governments in most countries, and have completely subsumed some. Using alien technology from an enormous vessel that crashed to Earth in 2075, these corporations are at the fore of a technological revolution not seen since the 21st century. From medical tech to computer equipment, all manner of uses are being exploited, and none more than the potential military applications. At the fore of this is the emergence of highly maneuverable and adaptable combat units called -mechs-. As the world governments consider adopting these to supplement or replace their regular forces, a mad dash to be the best in the industry has begun. Corporations from all over the world show off their new designs fighting off Unknown Machine Intelligences (UMI) to an audience of millions. What exactly the UMI are and what kind of link they have to this technology is yet to be determined.
