Megastructure

For a long time, scientists all over explored space were puzzled why the known spacefaring species emerged only relatively recently, and why so many of them are so similar in many aspects.   The discovery of an ancient starship of technology vastly beyond anything imagined promised to answer some of these questions, but instead only added greater mystery, as it lead explorers to a gargantuan structure floating in deep space, of a scale not thought possible.   A gold rush erupted, as explorers and scientists, mercenaries and militaries, people from all around the explored worlds gathered to try and find out the answers to age-old questions deep inside the Megastructure - or simply to get rich...
