Seven Ridge

Ridge 7, Callum Pass, or more often called Seven Ridge, is a city along the Callum Pass galactic rift. It is home to 25 million residents, and has a radius of 98 AU. With Port Callum to its north, and the Ricavah region to its south, Seven Ridge is often seen as the center of the Samirnol-Selphus lateral trade route, and a chaotic part of space within the confines of the Second Civilization.   Seven Ridge had historically been an integral part to Och's northern expansion, and gained its popularity as a stop for travellers due to the presence of the Ochean Imperial Army, during the Age of the Great Migrations between 700 and 887. It briefly fell under the control of the Archii-Selphus Union in 872, before being redistributed to Denian. By then, Seven Ridge had grown to be the economical backbone of the country that owns the territory.   In 1054, a referendum was held by the Callum Pass Independent Party, with an overwhelming 97% of people hoping for an exit from Och-Denian. A brief military incident then happened as Och-Denian tries to regain control of the Pass, with the army sent completely defeated by the defected Western Fleet in Ridge 9, just barely 4 pc away from Seven Ridge. Seven Ridge then became the administrative capital of Callum Pass, and soon gained the nickname "The Impartial Trade Center", as the trade hub is not controlled by any of the major powers.
