Order of the Confessor

An order of knights and priests dedicated to the god Saint Gaed. They are concerned with law and order, and fight against monsters, criminals and organisations that seek to subvert those ideals. There are many followers of St. Gaed, but few of them are invited to the ranks of the order of the confessor. The order demands the highest standards of impartiality, honesty and investigation from its members. This results in a small and often inflexible organisation, but also one with an impeccable reputation that dwarfs even the other priests of St. Gaed. Priests of the order are almost unanimously accepted as judges during disputes, whilst knights of the order have a reputation of sniffing out cults and conspiracies wherever they may be found. From their headquarters in Omundseat, the order seeks the eventual unification of the entire Uncrowned Lands under the judicial system of St. Gaed.
