Choosing a life among the wilds than great cities or castles, Wood elf cities are deep within forests and are built to be one with the wood that surrounds it.  Wood elves came to be as the end of the War of Creation finished, hiding among the many forests of the world.  Many of them fear to leave the protection of the woods they call home and choose a life of simple hermits.
