Session II : Finding the Sourse Report

General Summary

After leaving the mayors office, Chono caught scent of fae in the area and the party followed. Ending at the Tree of Wondrous Bounty, a magic tree locals believed that granted wishes, and was discovered that the rings of the tree had been grown into a teleportation circle. The party deciding on destroying the tree was best, doing so with ease but drew the attention of some of the town.
Among the townsfolk was a Changeling, disguised as one of the townsfolk and curious about what was going on. After a brief chat this ended with the changeling being captured and being lead back to the mayors home. Morphing into the Mayor, the changeling hoped to get the town upset at the party; it was mildly unsuccessful and lead to the it being knocked out. Talking with the real mayor the party learns that the punishment for such a thing is kill on sight, rather common in Braak, but the mayor felt that was a bit narrow minded and wanted to give the creature a fair trial among the town.
When the trial had finished, the town had voted in majority to kill the Changeling, as a result pixies that were invisible around the area opened fire. A fight broke out, the pixies trying to rescue the Changeling but in the end failing and all but one being killed, Changeling included among the dead. Fortunately there were no civilian casualties. Nor, with the help of a spell, had found that above the office was an invisible portal. The party ready to finish the job, quickly set out to go thru the portal and take the fight to the source of the pixies.
On the other side of the portal, a cave system was discovered. The smell of Fae was everywhere as well as a Draconic scent and something....other. Moving forward the party found that the caves connected to underground built rooms. First was an armory, empty but seemed used as of recent. The second was some sleeping quarters, blankets and bedrolls littered the room with a fire to keep the room warm. Third room was caved in but seemed like was trying to be dug out for something, a metallic smell was faint the room. Lastly was a larger throne room, where in a Black Dragon sat atop a pile of various farming tools and mostly useless junk.
Next to the Black Dragon, a man stood. His features were elven-eske, long ears and a narrow bridge nose, straight black hair that went past his elbows, pale skin like snow, eyes that were(if they can be described as such) vibrant and intense black, wearing black silk robes that flowed like water over his form. In his one hand he held a black spear that seemed absorb the light around it slightly.
A fight broke out after a brief talk, the Man in Black took his leave. Hard fought the party came out victorious, earning a few magic items from the Black Dragons hoarde. Convincing the remaining living pixies to follow Chono, or be eaten if they wouldn't. The party goes back to the caved in room, digging out where the pixies had been before, and dug out a large stone cabinet. Outside was written some form of poem, in old Sylvan, most of which was untranslated. Inside was what appeared to be at one point a place that held many magical items, only a Spear remained. The Party took the item and with the help of their new pixies, found a way to exit the caves and get back to town.
Teleporting back to town, inside the basement of Single Stop Shope the local Tavern/Inn/General Store, the party was given time to rest after a hard fight.

Found where the items were being taken too, stopped the pixies from taking anymore by killing all but 5 of them.
