Fire

Captured by the Primordials during the War of Creation, they were tortured and altered.  Granted abilities from the fire elementals that kept them the Fire Elves didnt gain freedom till the end of the war, many of them were used as soilders aginst the Gods.  Once freed many of them were forever changed and shunned by their cousins, so they left to go live among themselves.
