Fräv (frε:v)
(a.k.a. Engvi; Engvi-Fräv)
Known as the "most renowned of the asar", Fräv is a popular god venerated by many as a bringer of good harvests and peace. As Engvi-Fräv, he is the progenitor of the Englings, a noble dynasty of Svanling rulers, many of whom reigned as Emperors and Empresses. In years past blood-sacrifices of both dragons and animals were made in his name, petitions for continued peace and good harvests. Although dragons are rarely sacrificed in more recent times, animal sacrifices are still frequently made. He is most commonly associated with sacral kingship, fertility, and harvests.
