Per the terms of William Delea's last will, upon his death the Kingdom of Linia is divided into three separate realms, each to be ruled by one of his three eldest children. The Linian rump state retains all territory south of the Manasse Causeway, while the territory to the north is to be refactored into two new kingdoms: Vilia south of the Yellow Bay, and Dalia in the Jade foothills. With this act, William fulfills an oath he made to the Midlander tribes whom he subjugated: In return for their perpetual friendship, they would be seen not as children of Linia, but as equal cofounders of a new era.
