Manasse Causeway
In ancient times, the Manasse Causeway was the collective name for a series of natural and artificial waterways which cut through the south-central Midlands, connecting the Sea of Mice in the west with the Firenze in the east.
To the ancient Midlanders, the causeway was an invaluable tool for navigation and intraregional commerce, and caravan movement between the numerous city-states owed every ounce of its efficiency to the causeway's flowing waters. The causeway also supported inland fishing, which for many communities became a crucial dietary staple.
Upon the first division of the Three Kingdoms, the last will of William I dictated that the border between Vilia and Linia should be demarcated at the Manasse Causeway.
