Orcs of Meara

The Orcs of Meara primarily roam the western plains of Vuorikoht, in traveling clans of horse and dire-wolf riders. Horse riders are more common in warmer regions and wolves in cooler areas, but they come into conflict with one another often, and have developed many complex and varied forms of mock combat and trial by contest to settle arguments over territory etc.

Common Orc Cultures

Orcs in their traditional culture are Traveling People, with a focus on riding. There have been brief periods in the past when other nations tried kidnapping and enslaving Orcs for physical labor, but the practice never caught on in a big way, and descendants of these unfortunate folk have ended up as small misfit enclaves scattered around the most unexpected corners of the world.
