Tragedy strikes and claims the life of the King

In fall of Year 31, the long awaited visit of the King of Fetesca to the Dwarven Kingdom ended in tragedy. While touring the Dwarven mines a shaft collapse buried King Eric, along with several members of the Dwarf King’s court. Wanting to maintain the good relations between the two countries, the dwarves paid a large wergild to Fetesca.
