Meaghana

The world of Meaghana is a long running campaign world for Dungeons & Dragons, currently being run in the 5th edition rule set.   Currently Meaghana has entered its 3rd Age, following the Great War; an aborted attempt by several gods to begin the final war between good and evil and in doing so usher in Armageddon. One of the results of this failed war is the dissolution of the nature goddess Meaghana, and the return of the God of Time, Hosia, to rule over the divine pantheon.   Within the mortal realm, many of the great powers of the 2nd age were destroyed, and those that remain now seek to rebuild their world and find their path in these strange new circumstances. Sorcery, a type of magic that had been banished from the world in the 2nd age has returned and brought with it both new powers and new dangers for the unwary.   In this 3rd age, much of the hope of the mortal races depends on the actions of the brave few who call themselves adventurers. These adventurers seek to drive back the new evils of the world and recover some of what was lost in the Great War.
