Wolf's Bite

An ancient longsword with a black leather hilt and a crossbar that bears images of wolves. Wolf's Bite is an enchanted blade that bears the spirit of an ancient cleric of Kalim.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The spirit that provides Wolf's Bite with its powers is possessed with the special goal to make its wielder wealthy and powerful to better lead the faithful.
The sword is a +2 Long Sword and can speak a number of languages, including: Medinan Trade Tongue, Elvish, Wolf and can communicate telepathically.
The sword can detect and identify all precious metals and gems automatically within 20' feet of it when held in the wielders hands.
It can cast the Locate Object spell once per short rest.
Once Per Long Rest, the wielder can shape change as a druid into the form of a wolf. While shape changed, the wielder of Wolf's Bite adds the weapons +2 bonus to all hit and damage rolls made as well as the characters AC.
When the character changes back from the wolf form, they can spend a single hit die to immediately heal.
