The Slaying of the Wyrm Kybraxis

King Kyle and the Companions of the Dancing Stag hunt the Green Dragon Kybraxis.

Late in the year 120, the Green Wyrm Kybraxsis awoke from his slumber deep under the forests of Grayson, and rampaged through the villages of the duchy for months.
    Seeing no other alternative, King Kyle reassembled the Companions of the Dancing Stag and travelled to Greyson to do battle with the beast.
    The resulting battle became well known due to the song, The Slaying of Kybraxis, composed by the Halfling bard Rafellia Nimbletongue, who served as a chronicler for the Companions and was said to have witnessed the battle firsthand.
    The slaying of Kybraxis made King Kyle so popular with the people of Fetesca that there was a movement to have him declared a saint of the Holy Union while he still lived. While the king was honored by this people’s love for him, he humbly requested to receive no unusual honors for his deeds.
