Massive upswell of Dragon attacks all over Lerias.

Two centuries after the end of the Giant war, the dragons of Meaghana began to act very strangely. They began to attack and destroy everything. Huge flights of dragons would lay waste to anything they came across. After nearly a year of this happening, the Warriors of Penok and all of their splinter groups began a crusade against the dragons. Many of the Warriors were killed, with very little effect.
  Finally to give the humans a weapon to fight their evil kin, the Mithral dragons sacrificed themselves to create the silver griffons and the dragonlances. Using these, a group within the Warriors of Penok, calling themselves the Silver Griffons, fought off enough of the dragons to end the Time of the Dragons. However in the final battle all of the Silver Griffons died except Aukbar Margul of Robanus.
  Founding of the Blood Isles
  After the war many of the lesser races were howling for the extermination of the Dragons. Many of the High priests of the Gods, including newly appointed Aukbar of Robanus, decided to hide the dragons instead. With the assistance of many powerful spells and the direct intervention of Hosia, the blood isles were created as a sanctuary for the Dragons. Soon afterwards, the war of the Dragon slayers caused the dragons to form the Council of Wyrms.
