Withering of the Druidic Order

Political event

1202(AC)
1235(AC)

Lacking their Goddess, the Druids of Meaghana lose their political power.

Over time the truth of the Stargazer’s enigmatic response became clear. With their goddess sealed away by the order of Hosia, the druid order lost much of their temporal power. Many of the druids who dwelt in Drem simply chose to leave without explanation. This began to create a power vacuum in the Magecity which the Council of Archmagi was more than happy to fill.
In just a few short decades the withdrawal of the Druidic Order had essentially erased their control of the city. Only in some of the southern towns were the druids remaining in power, usually because of single druids maintaining control through pure force of will. The Council decided to leave this as it was as to not unnecessarily antagonize the druids, and as an olive branch allowed for the druids to address and advise the Council whenever they wished.
The final stoke that officially broke the power of the druidic council in Drem was the announcement of King Dorian of Fetesca, upon his marriage to Lady Lilandra of Whitestaff in year 35, that officially recognized Drem as controlling all the lands formally known as Keltria.
