The last Fetescan Empress died, leaving her daughter to desolve the empire and reinstitue Fetesca as a kingdom.

As the last ashes of the Great War fell upon the people of Fetesca their land was visited with one final tragedy, the death of the beloved Empress Liara. It is said by her people that she did not allow herself to die until she knew that Fetesca was safe.
    In either event, she died peacefully in her bed, and chose her eldest daughter Kalisandra, to succeed her. Kalisandra, a woman of powerful moral inclination, declared that the time of Empire was over. It was her belief that the actions taken by Fetesca in ruling over other lands were in violation of the laws set down by the Holy Union. As such, she declared all foreign lands under Fetescan control to be freed and was crowned Queen rather than Empress.
