Paduka Tribe

Believing themselves to be superior to the other tribes, the Paduka tribe carries itself on its strength and courage. They have mastered the ways of the dry eastern deserts of Mayika, and have found home among the plateaus and bluffs. Never having a permanent home, they wandered nomadically around the desert, in both hunting bands as well as war bands. Historically, they have waged war on other tribes whenever they see fit, especially those of the Gaigwu Tribe. It took the arrival of foreign nations for them to even consider banding together with other tribes. They took considerable losses in territory to the Dimerans in the Burning Plains War, and ceded some of their lands to them on the shores. To this day, though, they do not remain idle, and they consistently lead raids against the Dimeran settlers.   The most recognizable feature of the Paduka people is their brilliant and vibrant red hair. They are excellent warriors, and even their elders, children, and women are remarkably stronger than the average person. As such, they hold great pride in their achievements, and many aspects of their culture put weight on their power.   As for the darker times, the Paduka still take up arms against the Dimerans to this day. They refuse help from other tribes often, and remain under the watchful eye of their own Keeper. They are very hostile to new visitors, and even attempt traversing the darkness to attack other tribes for reasons unknown.
