Gaigwu Tribe

Though they called the southwestern hills home, the Gaigwu seldom stayed there for long. They were known as nomads, hunters, and most of all, proud warriors that rivaled even the Paduka Tribe. In fact, such a rivalry exists to this very day, where the Gaigwu and Paduka tribe regularly engage in war with each other. Though on Mayika, they were the furthest away from the settlements Dimerans made, they often went to many lengths to plunder and raid these settlements. The Gaigwu is one of the most numerous tribes in all of Mayika, and their people are spread far. As such, there are many different bands within the Gaigwu. Some bands have even emigrated across the strait to wander in Miigwan. Some Gaigwu were even spotted as far as Silverbirch.   A Gaigwu person typically wears leather clothing consisting of creatures the world over. In fact, you can usually tell where a Gaigwu person has been based on the clothing they wear. They take great pride in the lengths they would go to track and raid, and as such, they tend to be rather strong and hardy.   When darkness set its black shroud over Mayika, many Gaigwu people were separated across the plains. Some created villages around Keepers, while some assimilated themselves to other tribes or settlements. With the constant cover of night and monsters lurking in the eternal shadow, many Gaigwu have given up their nomadic ways, but some still choose to wander. Unfortunately, those few are seldom heard from again.
