Backstory part 2

I heard the voice off and on throughout the next week, whenever I went out at night. Determined to find an answer, or to admit to myself that I was truly going crazy, I found a small boat and began rowing out off the shore. The full moon reflected off the choppy seas, which violently shook my small wooden boat.

My backstory V1
9898 AoF

My husband, Illarion, was killed by Lorzub, the ugliest meanest Orc you will ever see, lieutenant to Bruga Chainbreaker herself. We had a peaceful life living on Rycel. We had been married for 175 years, I met him at my Centennial Birthday, the whole town showed up, he was visiting his cousin and was down from the big city. We fell in love, my mother chastised me for how quickly it was, we only courted for 25 years. But on that day we became married and mingled out silver blood, I knew I wanted him to be mine forever. We set out and made our own flet, away from our families, to live in peace alone. We even began trying for a child.   But then the orcs came, they struck us first. I was in town called there by my mother on a special occasion, the birth of my niece, from my twin sister. It was a day of celebration. My husband was to join us later on in the evening, but he never came. I wandered home that night after our Niece was born, to see if everything was okay with my husband. What was supposed to be one of the most special days since our own marriage, soon turned into the worst thing imaginable. I called out his name, with no reply. Climbing up to our flet, the floor was stained silver.... with his blood. I found him, hanging from a limb of the tree over our balcony, his ears cut off, taken as what I can only assume, as prizes, by the horrible beasts that did this. I sank down on my knees, unable to make a noise, unable to even move. I don't know how long I sat there. The sun rose and set so many times. His color changed, his blood tarnished....   And now I'm here, on the beach on Finwan. I came here right after his funeral, for my year and a day, to get away. The solitude here was agony at first, I only went to town once every few weeks for necessities, and veiled in white whenever I did so everyone would know I was in solitude. And then everyone else came. Every High elf on Rycel came to Finwan. Every. Single. High. Elf. Except Illarion.....   I saw my family. My mother and father, Sister, Brother-in-law, and my Niece: Lalith. But from a distance, I was still within my year and a day. I think they saw me, my mother stared in my direction for far to long.   But now my daily solitude was ruined. There was no more peace, there was so much agony and frustration on this once peaceful, serene, and spiritual island. I could no longer find peace in the sunny seashore and waves that I once had. My empty beach soon became crowded. So I began going out at night. I loved low tide, there were so many creatures. That's when I first heard the whispers. "You don't belong here." It sounded like Illarion's voice, in the back of my mind. "You don't have a place here anymore." Shaking my head, trying to dispel the words I continued my walk, picking along the tide pools. As the sky in the east began to get pink, it was time for me to sleep. The next night I heard a voice again, deep this time. "Come to me" it sounded from the ocean. I ignored it, telling myself I was just hearing things.   Deeper "Come to me"
