Disaster / Destruction
Ug'Vatha was destroyed by the Elven Gods in a meteor storm when the inhabitants failed to deliver a "important servant of the usurper gods" to Lord Akig.
One evening near the summer solstice meteors struck Ug'Vatha, causing massive damage to the city and killing tens of thousands. The survivors hear the following message: Wayward children, we your creators have long turned a blind eye to your blasphemies, we have even stayed our hand as you have befriended the wretched creations of the Usurper Gods, but no longer can we remain passive. Mata, Lord of Vision, has sensed a great evil among you. You harbor an important and dangerous servant of the enemy. Root them out and bring them outside the Southern Gate and what you have lost will be restored ten fold. We will make a great nation here and protect you from the usurpers. Fail to do this and face the wrath of the gods of Mavilor. I, Akig, Lord of Justice will return tomorrow to judge your worth, may you prove worthy of our love and mercy. Unsurprisingly with so much as even a vague description of who they were looking for, the inhabitants failed to deliver on this command. Ug'Vatha was utterly leveled in a meteor storm, the likes of which had never been seen in Mavilor. Since Ug'Vatha was an orcish city, this marked the first time that any pantheon of gods willingly and intentionally destroyed one of the settlements primarily inhabited by their own creations.
