The Meadow

Covered by flowers and a lake, the Meadow is a bowl-shaped Sky Island which has never been settled due to being located in a windless zone. Almost entirely unreachable without a Wind Weaver, the only reason it is known is its gorgeous sights. Wind Weavers will tell each other about the place during their training, sometimes even treat going there as a training exercise.   While the Meadow's rim lies at 9 metres above Standard Altitude, its insides drop fast. The surface level of its lake varies over time, but its floor lies at -37 SA. The lake often spans nearly half a kilometre in diameter. The rest of the island is covered with various flowers all year round, with varying colour schemes throughout the seasons.   Due to the shape of the island, water cannot flow over its side. Instead, every few months water will pour out the bottom of the island, creating a waterfall which will last for several hours. Furthermore, the shape and lack of wind prevent anything from blowing off the island. As a result, the Meadow is considered everlasting, since it does not lose mass over time.   Wind Weavers will occasionally bring their crews to the Meadow for relaxing. It also has been the site of many a marriage proposal. Everyone who has visited the island, has followed the unspoken agreement to take nothing of it. They keep the island pristine and lossless, a rarity that deserves protection.

I love that everyone agrees not to take anything from this place. It sounds stunning.

Certainly helps most people can't get there. And I am definitely going to have the Quiet Knave visit the Meadow at some point during the Stowaways their training.

This sounds so beautiful! <3 I'm glad people don't take flowers and things from there.
