The Thorathian race isn't some insectoid hive mind, so it only makes sense that among them while there may be villains like the Grand Warlord, there are heroes as well. Loreli is a freedom fighter, though the Empire would call her a pirate. But she has time and again helped refugees from fallen worlds, but none so much as the young man she fostered after the fall of Hjalla - Leo Su'un. She took a great risk for him, and drew the eyes of the Empire away from Earth. But she was captured, and the Psi Weavers learned of the location of what might be the last Hjallan from her, and Warlord Voss knew his next conqueset.
