Physical Description
Special abilities
Arthur Payne has the mutant power to convert sound into vast quantities of energy. However, he can only do this with music, or anything rythmic or melodic. The upper limit of his power has never quite been explored, but when amped and fully focused he has used it to alter reality itself, only muttering something about "the music of the universe" before passing out and losing all memory of the event. He generally carries his electric guitar into battle with a built in amp, and he plays the guitar to utilize his power.

Interests
Arthur's loves playing his electric guitar and singing, music is his primary hobby. He also enjoys classic movies and playing video games. He enjoys taking walks while listening to music, and he loves talking about his interests, which he often rants about to the annoyance of his friends. He once took a lesson on painting with Colossus, but he considered it boring and stopped. He has studied boxing as his mandatory martial art, which to everyone's surprise he excels at.

He considers Smoke to be his best friend, though he also often hangs out with Dhampir. He has always been fond of Penshaper, and he has tried to connect with her countless times, such as inviting her to join his band. He has always had a crush on Penshaper, and though he thinks he is fairly secretive about it, it sometimes seems obvious to those around him.
