Descriptors

Each power should have at least one origin descriptor. If the power can affect others in some way, then a medium descriptor is also required. More descriptors are permissible if they fit the character and the power. If you wish to be able to change descriptors during play then please consider the Variable Descriptor extra. The lists here are far from exhaustive, but they should provide a starting place.

Medium Descriptors

Medium descriptors are listed by rarity for Immunity cost. This list is a combination of frequency of powers and personal opinion on how likely complete immunity to a given effect should be. Source descriptors are Very Common when buying the Immunity power.

Rare

These tend to be custom descriptors such as being immune to your own or another individual’s powers. These are typically the basis for a defensive power rather than a normal descriptor.
