Session 7: Orland Al Borland Report

General Summary

The boys arrived in Santa Fe. After saying their goodbyes to Cadie and Kristoff, the boys decided to get settled in town. Orland asked Waylon to accompany him in talking with a local judge Orland was familiar with. However, this turned out to be a ruse, and Orland threatened Waylon that when their job was done, he would be looking to recruit Waylon into the Rangers, and he wouldn't be asking.
Following this, the boys head over to the bathhouse for a rest, and met a talkative fellow from New York who yapped about heading out west to California with some ladies of oriental appearance.
As the night was getting late, the boys went to the Palace Hotel to find a game for Waylon. Some unfortunate prejudice saw Chappa called into a fight with some local cowboys, and Waylon deal with his personal manitou, Elijah. The fight was settled handily, and the boys turned in for the night.
