General Summary

The party had been trekking through the Hisberian Wastes for several days, when they were interrupted by the earth shaking. Benjamin, believing that the sky was falling, hide inside a hollow log, and Habig ran near him.   The earth then split as the Pyrimidine, a large vehicular mechanism with a giant drill on the front, emerged in front of them. The fugitive Mico Jaxy, aka Redcap, got out of the vehicle and introduced itself to the party. They agreed that Mico would take them to Geria in the Pyrimidine in return for the party's protection from the Black Tongue of the Earth who were in close pursuit.   During their journey under the dirt, they accidentally fell into the tracks of a sandwurm. They managed to flee before being noticed; however, the Pyrimidine took some damage from the fall. Habig patched up the punctures as well as he could, but it was only a matter of time before it would need proper repairs.   After a few hundred miles, the Pyrimidine was moving at a snail's pace. The party surfaced, finally back in central Hisberia. They were near the banks of the Tagus, so they decided to abandon the Pyrimidine and sail upriver on the Bot of Hopfalbar. Habig sketched out blueprints for a drill ship of his own and salvaged some scrap to rebuild Nimbus v2.5, this time with glowing plutonium eyes.   While sailing upriver, a thick and spooky fog descended upon the boat. After seeing mysterious shapes along the banks of the river, Benjamin told the others about a tale he had heard in his childhood about mud-covered animal skeletons that would lure travellers to their demise by calling out for help.   Upriver, Benjamin saw a sheep floating in the water. Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be a bloated human corpse. Unnerved, the party sailed past.   Then the sheep showed up again, and once more, it turned out to be a human body. Habig shot near the corpse, which disappeared.   As they sailed on, once more, the body appeared. This time, Habig shot the corpse directly. A cry rang out, and it sank below the water.
