The Moon is the only body that orbits Earth. It was colonized during the beginning of the New Space Race, and was used as a platform to catapult humanity into the solar system. After the success of the Explorers rebellion the Lunarians formed a provisional government that would become the Lunar Federation of Commerce.

Geography

The Moon is covered in pock marks and giant flat plains of basalt. Nearly every discernible surface feature was created by an impact.

Fauna & Flora

All life on the Moon is contained within the constructs built there by humans. The un-sealed surface of the Moon is inhospitable to all life, as there is no atmosphere or magnetosphere.

Natural Resources

Helium, used in the manufacture of fuel cells, and volcanic residue, used as a base for most fertilizers, are the most abundant resources on the Moon.
