Martian
Martians are the descendants of the first human colonizers, from before the nuclear war that broke contact between Mars and Earth.
Gene therapy allowed these human colonizers, within 6 generations, to adapt to the martian environment, and speciate into their own life form.
A byproduct of this quickened evolution, and influenced by exposure to radioactive substances, gave the martians a natural affinity for psionics.
The martians have lost most cultural memory of their origins, and have built a new civilization aided by their psionic abilities.

Genetics and Reproduction
The martian gestation period is about 10 months.
They give birth in a way very similar to humans.
Ecology and Habitats
They prefer a temperature of about 50 degrees F.
They prefer humidity and usually live on the coast or in low lying valleys where water particles settle.
They rely on psionic forcefields to maintain their atmosphere and temperature.
Dietary Needs and Habits
They mostly eat the starchy fibrous byproduct cultivated from vent fungus, they use it as a base for many different types of, what we would call, breads and tortillas.

Geographic Origin and Distribution
Mostly stick to the coasts and bodies of water, their main settlements is in the Labyrinth of the Night.
Average Intelligence
Less mechanically inclined, their intelligience is usually more emotional.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
They have great vision, poor hearing, but have a sort of "sixth sense" resulting from their psionic abilities. This sixth sense could be called "prescience".
